2025-1학기 대학원 신입생 지도교수 및 세부전공 배정 신청을 아래와 같이 안내하오니 신청 대상자는 확인 후 기간 내에 신청해 주시기 바랍니다.
1. 배정 신청 대상
가. 2025-1학기 입학한 석·박사·석박통합과정 대학원생(현재 1기말)
나. 입학 후 휴학 또는 기타 학적변동으로 미배정되어 있는 자
2. 제출기간: 2025. 5. 13.(화) ~ 6. 10.(화) 16:00
- 방문 또는 이메일 제출(택1)
* 방문 제출: 국제관 553호 국제학부RC 행정팀
* 이메일 제출: 스캔본 hygce@hanyang.ac.kr 송부
3. 신청절차
가. 지도교수 배정
① (학생)지도교수배정 상담 신청 > 해당 교원에게 Email 알림 > ② (교수) 상담확정
> ③ 상담 진행 > ④ (교수) 상담내용 및 승인여부 입력 > ⑤ (학생)배정신청서 제출
- 승인 여부가 '반려'일 경우, 타 교수를 지정하여 재신청을 진행
- 승인 여부가 '승인'일 경우, 배정신청서를 출력하여 행정팀에 제출
- 지도교수 및 학과주임교수 날인 반드시 확인하여 제출
나. 세부전공 배정
① 지도교수 배정 상담 시 세부전공 배정 상담 함께 진행 > ② (학생)배정신청서 제출
- 전공을 선택하여 입학한 경우 세부전공 배정 신청 대상자가 아님 (본인의 세부전공을 확인한 후 그대로 기재하여 제출)
4. 유의사항
가. 지도교수 배정
- (석사/박사)논문연구 과목 운영을 위해 지도교수는 1기 말 배정이 원칙
- 지도교수 자격
* 본 대학교의 전임교원, 별도로 정하는 기준을 충족하는 석좌교수와 특훈교수
* 석사과정은 2년 이상, 박사 및 석박사통합과정은 3년 이상 지도할 수 있는 교수 중에서 선정할 수 있음
(연구년이어도 지도교수로 배정 가능)
나. 세부전공 배정
- 세부전공 배정은 해당학과만이 대상 (환경정책전공, 에너지기술정책전공)
- 세부전공은 1기 말 배정이 원칙
- 입학 당시 전공을 선택한 학생은 세부전공 배정 대상자가 아님
(본인의 세부전공을 확인한 후 그대로 기재하여 제출)
다. 세부전공 변경
- 세부전공 변경을 희망하는 경우, 2기말까지 '세부전공 변경신청서'(다운로드 경로: 대학원 홈페이지 > 자료실 > 학적)를 제출

We would like to inform you regarding the faculty advisor and concentration assignment for 2025 spring semester freshmen.
Please confirm the following information and submit your application within the designated period.
1. Applicants
A. Students enrolled in master's, doctoral, and integrated master's and doctoral programs in the 2025 Spring Semester
(currently in their first semester)
B. Students who have not been assigned due to a leave of absence or other academic changes after enrollment
2. Submission Period: May 13, 2025 (Tue) ~ Jun 10, 2025 (Tue) 16:00
- Submission Method: In-person or email submission (choose one)
* In-person Submission: Int'l Bld. Room 553, HYGCE Administrative Office
* Email Submission: Submit a scanned copy by email (hygce@hanyang.ac.kr)
3. Application Procedure
A. Assignment of Faculty Advisor
① (Student) Apply for Faculty Advisor Assignment Consultation > Email notification sent to the selected professor
> ② (Professor) Confirm consultation > ③ Academic counseling conducted > ④ (Professor) Input counseling details and approval
status in the system > ⑤ (Student) Submit Application Form
- If approval is rejected, reapply with a different faculty member
- If approval is granted, print and submit the Advisor Application Form to the administrative office.
- Signature of faculty advisor and the head professor must be included.
B. Assignment of Concentration
① Academic counseling for major field of study assignment conducted together with the academic advisor assignment consultation
> ② (Student) Submit Application Form
- Students who have already selected their major field of study(concentration) upon admission are not eligible for concentration
assignment. (Please state your concentration as indicated and submit accordingly.)
- Please write "환경정책전공" for "Global Climate Environmental Studies", "에너지기술정책전공" for "Global Energy Technology Policy
Studies".
4. Note
A. Assignment of Faculty Advisor
- The principle for assigning faculty advisors for thesis research courses (master's and doctoral) is at the end of the first term.
- Eligibility for Faculty Advisor
* Full-time professors, endowed and special appointed professors who meet specific criteria
* Professors who can supervise for at least 2 years for master's courses and 3 years for doctoral and integrated
master's/doctoral courses (could be assigned for faculty advisor even if he/she is in the research year).
B. Assignment of Concentration
- Only applicable to the affiliated department (환경정책전공(Global Climate Environmental Studies), 에너지기술정책전공(Global
Energy Technology Policy Studies)).
- The principle for concentration assignment is at the end of the first term.
- Students who selected a major at the time of admission are not eligible for concentration assignment.
(Please state your concentration as indicated and submit accordingly.)
C. Modification of Concentration
- If you are to change your concentration, please submit the '세부전공 변경신청서' (Download Path: Graduate School Webpage > 자료실 > 학적) by the 2nd semester of your enrollment.
